[NEWS] MTV: CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S FIERY 'HUNGER GAMES' SINGLE ART REVEALED

We got a taste of Christina Aguilera's stirring "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" track last week when the full soundtrack listing was revealed — now, we've got the "We Remain" single art to look at.
A dramatic image, the art shows Katniss Everdeen splayed on the ground — perhaps among the horrors of the arena — looking off into the distance. The sequel to "The Hunger Games" — in which children were forced to fight to the death for the amusement of an oppressive upper class — "Catching Fire" sees victors Everdeen and Peeta Mellark thrown back into the arena, where they will go toe-to-toe with all past Hunger Games winners. Meanwhile, a rebellion brews, instigated by the duo's refusal to kill each other in the last battle royale. The film hits theaters in November.
The photo perfectly matches the strident, wistful nature of Aguilera's track, in which she sings, "Whatever happens here/We remain." A message to fellow fighter and love interest Peeta, perhaps?
Listen to 'We Remain' in its entirety after the jump.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA PREVIEWS FIVE SONG FROM #LOTUS, HER 'LABOR OF LOVE'

With just one week to go until Christina Aguilera releases her seventh studio album, Lotus, the "Your Body" singer hosted an album preview event, where she played five tracks to some of her biggest fans, both old and new.

"As in every record, it's my heart. It's a labor of love. It's not just songs to me; these are blood, sweat and tears and stuff from the heart," Aguilera said. "You'll hear on this record that I've written songs for the next generation to hopefully inspire new singers of raw talent and realness. ... I definitely wanted to have fun and make Lotus about freedom."

The five tracks from Lotus, which hits stores November 13, have Aguilera showing off her impressive vocal range, reminding us why she is one of the best in pop music. Yet on these tracks, Aguilera — who called this a "celebratory record" — is also taking some risks. Her lyrics are unapologetic, she is exploring different sounds and she recruited some friends in fellow "Voice" coaches Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton for some impressive collaborations.

Let's take a closer look at the songs:

[NEWS] MTV: 5 THINGS WE LEARNED FROM CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S 'FASHION INDIE' INTERVIEW

On top of a new album, single, and beauty-stacked music video, Christina Aguilera is ALSO launching a brand new perfume. The new scent, Red Sin, is the latest addition to Xtina's major fragrance arsenal, and probably the spiciest one yet with notes of ginger, cinnamon, sandalwood, cyclamen, musk and red apple. We took you through her sultry commercial for the fragrance earlier this month, but thanks to our friends at Fashion Indie who sat down to chat with THE Miss Aguilera, we now get a snapshot into the thought process behind developing the scent and the ad spot. Check out the 5 things we learned from their interview with Xtina after the jump!
1.) Much like Taylor Swift, Christina's favorite color is red: "It has always been my favorite — it is my go to lipstick color, and as you can see in my house there are accents everywhere."

2.) "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" and the Bible may have influenced the fragrance itself: "The story with using red apple is that it ties in with temptation. Temptation has always been something in fairy tales and stories through history which can be seductive, alluring, and enticing."

3.) The word "sin" has a positive connotation in Xtina's world: "I want women to feel empowered when they wear it. The scent is boldly sexy. I want women to be unafraid to feel a little mysterious, with a little sin involved."

4.) The TV ad shoot happened in Christina's home: "The commercial was shot in my bedroom."

5.) Perfume plays a big part in Xtina's nighttime routine: "I put on fragrance before I go to bed and get under the covers. Scent is a really important thing to me; it sort of relaxes me and makes me feel sexy, feel seduced and hopefully have seductive dreams."

[NEWS] MTV: POP-CULTURE CHEAT SHEET FOR CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S 'YOUR BODY' MUSIC VIDEO

Christina Aguilera's brand-new "Your Body" video is certainly a feast for the eyes, what with its brightly colored scenes of violence (and gratuitous automobile explosions), but it's also an all-you-can-eat buffet for pop-culture aficionados.

Yes, aside from the obvious odes to Russ Meyer flicks and trailer-park chic, "Your Body" is also loaded with subtler nods to our pop-cult past — which is why we've spent the day analyzing every frame, noting each fleeting tribute to trashy TV, sugar-coated cereals and lunar-ready footwear (what can we say, we have a lot of time on our hands). And now, in celebration of Christina's return — and her truly clever new video — we're presenting all our findings to you. Here is our pop-culture cheat sheet for the "Your Body" video, alphabetized and cross-referenced for your convenience:

[NEWS] BREAKING DOWN CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S KILLER BEAUTY GAME IN 'YOUR BODY' MUSIC VIDEO

Let's all give Christina Aguilera a round of applause for giving us THE best way to cruise into the weekend. After tons of hints, Tweets, and Facebook sneak peeks, she's dropped her music video for "Your Body" today, and good news- it's basically just as epic as we'd all been secretly hoping. There's no question the track is a guaranteed dance party, and our girl has turned out a major video to match, complete with about a ZILLION costume changes and 7 different beauty looks! Between the retro curls, the braids and the rainbow weave, they're too good NOT to break down, one by one..so let's get started!

Christina is ALL about the disguises in the video- she uses 'em to rope the guys in and get her revenge (warning: don't try this at home!). She starts out in good-girl mode, with baby pink lipstick, lashes out to THERE, and a deceptively sweet smile. Plus, can we please talk about her amazing accessories?! Between the star earring, her embellished white sunglasses (to match her nails, obviously), and loads of rings....we honestly don't know which piece we want to steal the most.

Whereas before Christina's hair was mostly bleach blonde, we finally get a peek at the amazing pink streaks in her milkmaid braids. The colored hair trend definitely isn't going ANYWHERE soon, and we're okay with that if it looks THIS good. She's swapped out her bubblegum lipstick for a pale coral gloss, and added even more bling with a "Rich B*tch" necklace by Tom Binns and LOADS of jewelry. And while it might take us a while to master the milkmaid pleats, here's the good news: her thin cateye is a look pretty much anyone can copy.

My Little Pony hair alert! With her wavy hair down now and in a middle part, we can finally peep Christina's red, pink, and purple hues woven into the blonde. Just in case you're keeping track, yes, she's added more mascara and changed her lipcolor for the third time. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do....

[NEWS] THR: CHRISTINA AGUILERA TRANSFORMS INTO KILLER TRAILER TRASH IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO

At the beginning of Christina Aguilera's official music video for "Your Body," a warning that "No men were harmed in the making of this video" appears. It's necessary information, since the Melina Matsoukas-directed clip for the new single, which premiered on Friday (Sept. 28), features the pop star seducing and slaughtering a handful of men who only want to love her body.

Seemingly inspired by the cartoonish violence on her TV screen, the curvaceous Aguilera steps outside of her trailer in the video to find her first victim -- a dude with a car that she blows up when she tires of his good looks. Next is a billiards player who makes the mistake of following Xtina into a public restroom; soon, he's unconscious on the toilet, covered in a light blue goo that the pop star is naughtily wiping off her cheek.

Another standout of the video is, of course, Aguilera's wardrobe selection, highlighted by a curve-hugging black dress, low-cut American flag shirt, jean vest covered in her blonde dreadlocks and long-sleeved white tee that reads "F*ck the Paparazzi." By the end of the video, when Aguilera whacks her final victim with a bat, the glitter that the guy's body turns into sprinkles seamlessly into her hot-pink wig.

Produced by Max Martin and Shellback, "Your Body" debuted at No. 34 on this week's Hot 100 after hitting the Web last week. The single previews Aguilera's fifth studio album, Lotus, an album that the singer has called a "rebirth" and is due out Nov. 13 on RCA Records.

[NEWS] MTV: AGUILERA TAKES HER BAD-GIRL IMAGE TO DELIGHTFULLY DANGEROUS NEW HEIGHTS

Based on early sneak peeks, we were pretty certain Christina Aguilera was going to revisit her previous bad-girl roles in the brand-new "Your Body" video ... but, wow, we definitely weren't expecting this.

In the clip, Christina plays a candy-colored killer, one who delights in wooing well-physiqued men to their demise. She hitches a ride with one guy, seduces him, then sets his car ablaze (in electric-pink flames, nonetheless). Next, she hits a dive bar, shoots some stick, and lures her next victim into a bathroom stall, where she bludgeons him to death, leaving spatters of blue paint dripping from the walls. And finally, in one of the video's most striking scenes (literally), she uses a bat to bash a dude's brain in, showering the room in a mist of red confetti.

Of course, there's not actual violence shown; instead, director Melina Matsoukas — who's done equally eye-catching clips for the likes of Lady Gaga and Rihanna — fills "Your Body" with brightly-colored, almost surreal gore. In that regard, the video is reminiscent of Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers," which, while plenty brutal, felt more like a cartoon ... you couldn't believe the carnage because it gushed forth in such hypnagogic hues (of course, "Your Body's" trailer-park trappings also bring to mind Beyoncé's "Party" clip).

There is also no shortage of junk-culture nods, like the old NES Advantage controller Aguilera jams on, the odd (and, one can assume, coffer-filling) cameos by psychic site Oranum.com, sugar-coated cereals, and trashy day-time television, to say nothing of Christina's wardrobe, loaded with leopard prints and Day-Glo accoutrements and very trailer chic.

And while Aguilera has certainly worn all manner of eye-catching get-ups in the past, here her costumes aren't meant to be standalone shock pieces; they all play into the larger feel of the video itself, which, sure, is grisly and garish, but also incredibly clever and visually arresting. It tweaks societal standards, plays to our baser instincts, and burns brightly across the brain. Once again, Xtina proves she's really good at being bad, but she's never done it with tongue so firmly planted in cheek (I love the "No Men Were Harmed in the Making of this Video" warning at the beginning). Subtlety isn't her strong suit, and so long as she keeps churning out videos as good as this one, we're willing to accept that about her. Then again, judging by the amount of bodies she leaves in her wake, it's not like we'd be willing to tell her otherwise.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA SAYS 'LOTUS' TAKES RISKS

Christina Aguilera doesn't pull any punches on her upcoming Lotus album, named in honor of — as she explained — "the unbreakable flower ... no matter the harshest of conditions, it still survives and it thrives through time."

You can see why the title appealed to her; after all, if the past few years have proven anything, it's that Aguilera is a survivor. Her much-publicized marriage to Jordan Bratman came to an end and her equally publicized Bionic album failed to match the commercial success of her previous efforts. In many ways, it seemed like her entire life was at a crossroads, but rather than cover-up and hide, she re-invented herself, joining "The Voice" and re-invigorating her career with "Moves Like Jagger." And now, she's back with a brand-new album ... and if you thought she was about to play things safe, well, then you don't know Christina Aguilera.

"I've already put out a greatest hits record, so I've been in this business for a while, and ... I'm a risk taker, that's just who I am at heart. It's who I can't help but be. It's who I always am in nature, as a person and as an artist," she told MTV News. "And with that comes hurdles and certain areas where people aren't going to get it and understand it artistically; sometimes it will go over their heads and it will not be as commercially successful.

"[And] personally, I'm someone that's always growing and evolving," she continued, "And at this point of my life, I feel that I've reached a place where I'm completely embracing everything about who I am, and I'm having more of an understanding of myself."

And based on Lotus' first single, "Your Body," Aguilera seems poised to once again regain her spot amongst the pop elite. She's not hiding from her past, or letting everything that happened in the aftermath of Bionic slow her down ... if anything, she's embracing everything, and moving forward. Fearlessly so.

"I wanted to make a record that speaks to those fans who grew up listening to my music and yet reintroduce new fans ... watching me on 'The Voice' at 6 years old who don't know about my first record," she said. "This is a really exciting time to show them both sides."

[NEWS] REPS FOR CHRISTINA & BRITNEY DENY ANY INVOLVEMENT WITH MADONNA'S 'MDNA TOUR'

Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are set to “make cameos” on Madonna’s MDNA tour, claims The Hollywood Reporter.

The site says the pop trio, who famously locked lips during a racy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003, “could very well” reunite onstage when Madonna’s tour hits Los Angeles this fall.

THR reports, “According to the Twitter feed for the singer’s latest album, MDMA, Aguilera will appear at Madonna’s concerts in Los Angeles on Oct. 10 and 11 for a ‘special performance,’ while Spears will ‘attend’ the show on the 10th.”

However, as exciting as it would be to see the three stars perform together again, a reunion is not in the cards just yet.

A rep for Madonna tells Gossip Cop it’s “not true” that Aguilera or Spears will join her onstage during her tour, explaining that the MDNA Twitter account which started the rumor is “a fake.”

And reps for Spears and Aguilera both tell us that the reunion report is FALSE.

[NEWS] MTVBUZZWORTHY: 'CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S 'YOUR BODY' DEMO SURFACES SLAYS US ALL'

You guys! Christina Aguilera is reclaiming her position at the top of the charts, and no wig is safe. Is this the latest evidence of Xtina's move back toward global domination? Uh duh, to put it eloquently.

The newly surfaced "Your Body" demo (which may also end up appearing under the title "Touch Your Body" or "F*** Your Body," because YOLO) surfaced yesterday after weeks of anticipation. (And just sayin', it must be a HUGE sigh of relief for fans awaiting the "Not Myself Tonight" chanteuse's big comeback single.) Trust us: "Your Body" doesn't disappoint.

Find out more about "Your Body" after the jump.

Though it's just a demo, the Max Martin-produced track is chilly and dissonant, with gauzy synths and one of those can't-get-you-out-of-my-head choruses that's almost deceptively simple. The track also succeeds in making Christina's intentions known, loud and clear. "All I wanna do is f*** your body!" Christina cries over skittering percussion. "Tonight's your lucky night, I know you want it!" We do, Christina. We do.

The best part, though, comes nearly three minutes in when Christina puts her legendary pipes to work delivering the epic line: "I think you already know my name." She's right — we already do, and if the album version delivers on the promise of this demo, we're pretty sure we'll be seeing a lot more of that name.

Editor's Note:
We couldn't agree more! 'Your Body' owns! Christina really stole it, owned it, and sold it with this one!

[NEWS] IS CHRISTINA AGUILERA SET TO WORK WITH BRITISH PRODUCERS XENOMANIA?

If the ever-lovely Beth Ditto is to believed, she may well be.

In a recent interview with Pop Justice, Ditto revealed that while she and her Gossip bandmates were in England recording at Xenomania Towers, the rural headquarters for super-producer Brian Higgins and his crew, they encountered a number of other musicians – but it's the one who wasn't there at the time but was planning on "coming in" that got us the most excited.

"Florrie was there, Annie was there. That’s when Nathan and I were there anyway. And there were some other people that I don’t remember. I think they were up and coming people," Ditto said when asked who was hanging around the studio. "But they were like, 'Oh in a week Christina Aguilera’s coming in,' and I was like 'please let me stay here.'"

Aguilera talked up her new album during an April episode of her hit show "The Voice," telling Christina Milian, "I've been in the studio, hard at work. Different producers I'm working with have just excited me so much and have given me amazing tracks and beats and material I've been writing to and [with] writing partners. It's just filled with fun and excitement, and it's gonna come out later this year, and I'm very, very excited to share it with my fans, finally."

If one of the producers she mentioned does turn out to be Xenomania, Aguilera's fans should start getting excited. The British songwriting and production team, comprised mainly of Higgins and Miranda Cooper, have an affinity for radio friendly Europop and are revered in the UK for their work with some of the country's top acts, including Pet Shop Boys, The Saturdays, Sugababes and, in particular, Girls Aloud. They've also worked with Kylie Minogue, one of the world's biggest dance-pop superstars, and Higgins co-wrote Cher's international blockbuster "Believe."

It could be a marriage made in pop heaven – one of the best voices in mainstream music hitting the studio with producers renowned for making forward-thinking dance music that strays far enough off the well-worn path to be interesting but not so far that it won't find radio love. Sign us up, Xtina!

[NEWS] SWEET TWEET: CHRISTINA AGUILERA WANTS TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF SAHEL

We all know that Christina Aguilera has got a great set of pipes and we can listen to her sing all day long, but what about listening to what she has to tell us on Twitter? The sultry singer had some serious stuff to say about the crisis going on over in Sahel.

Sahel is a region in West Africa that has been experiencing a major drought. Crops are failing, so that means that food has gotten way more expensive because it’s harder to get stuff to eat right now. It’s an all-around bad situation, but we can give aid and make a difference. That’s why Xtina tweeted this:
Her link takes you to the World Food Progamme, which is offering to match your donation until June 15. If you donate $10, another $10 will be given to the WFP, making it $20 in total. The WFP is especially interested in making sure food goes to kids, pregnant women and nursing moms. It doesn’t cost much to make a BIG difference: just $50 will supply more than three months' worth of food for two people. This whole double-your-impact deal only lasts another week, and it makes your contribution even more helpful.
Christina’s not the only celeb who’s trying to help out the people of Sahel. Shakira and Selena Gomez are also wearing their hearts on their sleeves when it comes to this crisis, asking their fans to pitch in. Xtina’s on the bandwagon with them, so would you like to follow the lead these ladies are taking?

[NEWS] THE LEGACY OF 'BIONIC': WHY CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S MOST MISUNDERSTOOD ALBUM WAS ACTUALLY AHEAD OF ITS TIME

Hey Little Dreamers! I'm Sam Lansky, pop scholar, and this is Pop Think, my weekly column dedicated to shining a light on the oft-ignored corners of the pop music universe. Let's get to it:

Is there a pop album from the last several years that was as unjustly sh***ed on (to borrow sentiment from Nicki Minaj) as Christina Aguilera's Bionic? The big-voiced chanteuse's sixth studio album received mixed reviews and underperformed commercially, while her image took a beating in the press for being messy and misdirected, even though the record was, at times, precociously brilliant.

So, surprise! As your resident pop apologist, on the eve of the two-year anniversary of Bionic's release (time flies, doesn't it, kids?), I'm traveling back through time to take a look back at Christina's wildly misunderstood, sometimes-genius Bionic—and reflecting on how the ferocious songbird, who's found a new life as the HBIC on "The Voice," had a surprisingly forward-thinking approach on her last album.

Expectations ran exceptionally high for Christina Aguilera's album Bionic, with a list of top-shelf collaborators both mainstream and indie; big names like Tricky Stewart, Ester Dean, Nicki Minaj, and Polow da Don were joined by more alt-leaning voices like Ladytron, Le Tigre, Santigold, Peaches, and Sia, for a sound that promised to be diverse and collaborative. But that left-of-center sound was missing from the album's debut single, "Not Myself Tonight," an aggressive stomper that drew comparisons to Lady Gaga and peaked at a decent-but-not-great #23 on the Hot 100. The second single, "Woohoo," featuring Nicki Minaj, topped out at a dismal #79 on that same chart, and the final effort, "You Lost Me," failed to enter the Hot 100 at all — Christina's first single to do so. Quietly, and without much fanfare, the Bionic era drew to a close.

So. What went wrong? Her collaborator, Daniel Hunt of Ladytron, blamed RCA, saying bluntly that Christina's label "f***ed up everything" when it came to putting together the final album. And while it's always convenient to blame the label for the faults of an artist, it did certainly seem as though Christina's original artistic vision — to create a distinctively fresh product — got muddled somewhere along the way, perhaps by the overreaching commercial expectations of a chart-conscious team.

But Ladytron was right -- most of the album's best tracks were relegated to the bonus tracks only available on the deluxe edition of the album. And what's startling is how thrilling most those songs are two years after their release. If the tracks on the standard edition were modern but fairly pedestrian, split neatly between uptempo, hypersexual club bangers like "Desnudate" and "Glam" and weepy ballads like "Lift Me Up" and "You Lost Me," the songs on the deluxe edition are forward-thinking and even timeless, galactic pop with subversive, ambient production. The hand-claps and dissonant layered vocals on "Monday Morning," co-penned by San by Santigold, evoke the '80s with subtlety and charm (it wouldn't sound out of place on Ladyhawke's first album). "Bobblehead" is a dazzlingly weird rap-and-percussion diss track, and the Ladytron-produced "Birds of Prey" is a masterwork of sinister bad-trip anxiety. My personal favorite, though, is "Little Dreamer," the iTunes bonus track, another Ladytron collab, which walks the tightrope between wistful affection and melancholy grief, and shows off Christina's vocals at their finest: Powerful, emotive, and more controlled than the melismatic belting for which she's frequently recognized.

In its own way, Bionic neatly illustrates the dangers artists face when aggressively trying to keep up with "current" music: Mainstream music is a runaway express train hurtling itself toward the trendiest end of the pop music zeitgeist. As a result, futuristic pop track can already sound dated by the time it's released. And even when they don't, those chart-chasing songs don't age particularly gracefully. But two years after the fact, Bionic's moments of greatness remain about as good as it gets. On her next album, I'm gunning for Christina to show us that side of her, stronger than ever.

[NEWS] 'THE unWANTED' STILL THINK CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S A 'BITCH': 4 REASONS WHY SHE IS NOT!

Even British boy band The Wanted feel unwanted sometimes. Who by? Christina Aguilera. After a recent visit to "The Voice," the band's Tom Parker called Christina "a total b*tch" for apparently refusing to look at and speak to them. They apologized, but now are back at it! Perhaps she was just intimidated? Good looks x (5 boys + 5 British accents) = speechless, in my book. Maybe not for Christina, but chill out boys! Millions of women around the world still kiss your glossy posters goodnight before bed.

Although what Christina did (if she did) was sort of…well…what The Wanted said…let’s not forget about all of the kind things Christina has done over the course of her career.

Here are a just few of them:

+ She donated $200,000 to a Women’s Shelter.

In 2003, Christina donated $200,000 to the Women's Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh (her hometown). The shelter deals specifically with domestic violence survivors and their families -- an issue close to Christina’s heart, as she often speaks on the domestic abuse she witnessed and experienced as a child.

+ She has publically supported the LGBT community for years.

Christina was supporting the LGBT community long before Lady Gaga dressed in meat and wrote “Born This Way”! ‘Tina was one of the first mainstream artists to use gay and transgender images in her 2002 music video for, “Beautiful.” In 2008, she took a public stance against California’s Proposition 8 saying, "Marriage should be about two people celebrating their love for each other. It shouldn't have anything to do with someone's sexual preference." She is also the first celeb named to West Hollywood's Gay Walk of Fame.

+ She sang my pre-teen crying song.
Crying song, noun: 1. A song that many sensitive, “heart-broken” individuals cry to alone in their rooms. 2. Emo.
My current crying song is Coldplay’s “Fix You,” but back in the day, Christina Aguilera "Reflection" helped me through my first major breakup. And by “major,” I mean that this guy named Oscar sat with me at lunch on Monday but not on Tuesday. It was devastating.

“Wheeeen will my reflection show whooooo I am insiiiiide?” I don’t know, Christina. I. Don’t. Know. However, I’m certain (or hopeful) that whatever reflection The Wanted saw of you wasn’t “who you really are inside.”

P.S. We love you both. Keep doing what you're doing to give back.

Editors Note:
It's great to know that there are people out there that actually do their homework and know about stuff that Christina does under the radar. Christina is an amazing woman but I guess the world is going to have to figure that out on their own. Love & Light.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA, MAROON 5, KE$HA & MORE WANT YOU TO ROCK THE VOTE!

Thanks to Rock The Vote, there’s a bevy of musical badasses who are putting their pop power behind this year’s youth voter push. It's a democratic get-down you really don’t wanna miss! Founded to combat musical censorship back in the early 90s (their OG Madonna ads are PRICELESS for her accent alone), Rock The Vote has now grown into the biggest non-partisan voter registration org in America. It’s all about young people having a say in who runs this country (Beyonce has already cast her vote) and 2012 is gonna be no different.

Partnering with national and community organizations, technology companies, college campuses, artists and a little media network known as MTV, RTV plans to boost youth turnout by registering a whopping 1.5 million new voters. And they’ve enlisted some big name ambassadors to help turn up the volume on this year’s campaign: Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5, Nas, Jason Derulo, Kat Graham, Ke$ha and Keri Hilson, who was on hand yesterday when RTV announced its big goal.

And don’t think they’re stopping at just rocking. In response to the totally blown up electronic dance music (EDM) scene, RTV has teamed up with Insomniac Events (the superbass team who put on Electric Daisy Carnival and other electronica extravaganzas) to launch Spin The Vote -- a new youth voter drive rolling out at packed EDM festivals across the country. So if you’re more Kaskade than Ke$ha, this is the registration route for you -- fight for your right to dance!

[RUMOR] CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S NEW SINGLE MAY BE 'COMING' SOONER THAN EXPECTED

This is the first rumor in regards to the new material that is backed by someone who has established credibility.

A couple years ago, on the eve of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, the source accurately revealed the setlist for the medley that Christina performed the following day (Bionic, Not Myself Tonight, and Woohoo).

Evidently, Christina's new single will be released in two-three weeks and will be promoted with a live performance on 'The Voice.' Furthermore, a summer release for the album is still the plan for now.

With all rumors, let's take this into consideration with a grain of salt since anything could change. However, it is beyond exciting!
