 “The video was really fun to shoot. It took us 2 days and we went to a few remote places in LA” Christina told JustJared.com. “I wanted the video to be fun and not too serious. It is all to be taken tongue and cheek, nothing too literal.”

“The album isn’t just one genre or feel but a mix of songs that just felt good to me. I wanted to do something different with this album and not stick to one distinct sound but rather make an album with songs that just felt good to me,” Christina added about Lotus.

[NEWS] ROLLING STONE RANKS CHRISTINA AGUILERA AS THE #1 COACH OF 'THE VOICE'

After Tuesday's glacial pacing and recitation of family medical histories, The Voice sped things along last night – though mostly to demonstrate that none of the contestants were choosing Team Cee Lo. While we were shown full auditions of crestfallen boy banders, there were only mere seconds of performances from a trio of young singers who actually made it onto teams. This forced viewers (and curious recappers) to iTunes or the show's site to check out what actually happened. It seems like that this'll be the new normal as winnowing the field to 64 means we'll likely be seeing around 100 auditions in the coming weeks. Here's how it panned out:

Why: Girl is just swooping up all the big, radio friendly voices. She has a strategy and is winning over most everyone she wants for Team Xtina. Every competitor under the age of 30 with a big voice grew up idolizing her, so they are geeked and eager to have her on their side. Also, she knows how to reach contestants' inner-diva with her come-to-me speeches. She directly addresses their egos, telling smooth-voiced Nigerian emigre Nelson Emokpae that she wants a full concert from him, not just his modern take on Bill Withers "Ain't No Sunshine." Aguilera also nabbed 15-year-old Marissa Ann, who performed a Katy Perry song in the style of Katy Perry; and picked up Lisa Scinta – a trio of powerhouses now under the Team Xtina banner.

• The Radio Edit of 'Your Body' will not remove the lyric 'fuck' but will be replaced with either 'touch' or 'love'
• iTunes will list both a clean and explicit version of 'Your Body' which will garner more sales
• The Final Copy of 'Your Body' will feature harder beats, and more vocal riffs
• RCA is receiving a follow up single - a ballad - within the coming weeks
• The second single will likely see a release more towards the end of 4th quarter
• The second single is mid-tempo and similar to the pace of 'What A Girl Wants'
• Christina and RCA have a massive promo plan in place
• The promo plan in place will rival her promo schedule during the 'Stripped' era
• Christina has her sights set on making this era a success and reclaiming her Pop Royalty Throne
• 'Your Body' is being sent to all radio formats including: Top 40, Rhythmic, Urban, AC, etc
• The second single is initially going to be sent to the following radio formats: Top 40 & AC
• The second single will have different versions including midtempo and a HUGE ballad version
• Christina is allowed to make an appearance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, however, she may be contractually not allowed to perform due to the exclusive contract she signed to debut her first single/performance on 'The Voice'

[NEWS] BIONIC IS CLIMBING UP THE ITUNES TOP 200 ALBUMS CHART

Wow! 2 years after it's birth, Bionic has risen from it's ashes and is quickly climbing to the top of the iTunes Top 200 Albums chart. Just earlier this morning Bionic was at number #48 but now after having 'Buy Bionic' trend worldwide on twitter it has climbed nearly 30 spots. It now sits at #19.

We can't rule out that RCA had something to do with the major jump on the iTunes Album chart. They just lowered the cost of the album to a mere $6.99.

If that isn't an incentive to want to buy the album, I don't know what is.

So, as the best mother fucking fanbase out there we should celebrate Christina Aguilera's eclectic taste in music and her undeniable artistry by purchasing another copy of her cult classic album 'Bionic'.
