[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA EMBRACES HER BODY THROUGH AGING AND MOTHERHOOD
"Some people are afraid of change and [feel] that getting older is a bad thing, but I really love maturing and gaining wisdom," the 31-year-old pop star, Voice coach and mother of son Max, 4, tells PEOPLE. "And the experience of being pregnant and having a child and seeing what a woman's body can do is amazing."
If you're going to be a hater, so be it – it won't faze her.
"I've always been one to make it very clear, love me or hate me, take it or leave it, this is who I am," she says. "I embrace my body, and I embrace everything about myself. Coming full circle is a celebration of freedom and happiness because that's what [my new album] Lotus is representing. I'm embracing everything that I've grown to be and learned to be."
About that new album, which comes out Nov. 13 – did Aguilera have any qualms about appearing nude on the cover?
"It's very interesting, because I don't see that album cover as being nude at all," she says. "I actually feel very covered and it's all about embracing white light and freedom, and I didn't want it to be about too much fashion. I wanted it to be raw, real and free and a celebration of life and the woman I've become."
On the subject of The Voice, Aguilera says Usher and Shakira will be great replacements when she and Cee Lo Green take a break next season. And Shakira needn't worry – it's not too taxing for an expectant mom.
"Well, you just have to sit there, so that's an easy gig pregnant. But I have all of the confidence in the world," Aguilera says. "They are true pros. Shakira and Usher have been doing it for a very long time and have their own fan bases. They can keep my seat warm."

[MULTIMEDIA] ET EXCLUSIVE: 'BIONIC' CHRISTINA AGUILERA ON MUSIC AND MOTHERHOOD
Christina Aguilera is back in the spotlight after a four-year break with her new hit album Bionic and the upcoming movie ‘Burlesque,’ and the multiple-Grammy winner reveals to ET’s own Kevin Frazier whether or not she plans to expand her family!
“Bionic is definitely my baby at the moment,” says Christina. “Eventually, in the future, I do want to expand on my family and have another one, but for now, Bionic is the baby and ‘Burlesque’ is the other baby.”
“I couldn’t be happier about … the fact that the album’s inspired by my son, and the future, and the feeling of the movement of electronica music, in a sense,” says Christina, “but still maintaining that rawness of having those definite ballads that evoke that pure, honest emotion. … Being able to just pour my heart out into the beauty and emotion of a song is very important to me.”
What kept her from the spotlight for so much time? Christina explains: “The first year we spent touring, getting pregnant, living that out, becoming a mother, taking the first year to sort of do the mom thing, feel what that’s really like, and then be inspired for my new record. Then I accepted the movie ‘Burlesque,’ and that was almost a year away from the public eye.”
Christina stars opposite Cher, Kristen Bell, Eric Dane, Alan Cumming, Julianne Hough and more in the upcoming big-screen musical, in theaters this November, and she says of the ‘Burlesque’ experience, “Acting is a completely different animal, but it definitely is something — it gave me a lot of tools to now use in my world of music.”
And Christina says that when she goes home at night after work, her two-year-old son Max with hubby Jordan Bratman gets all the attention a child deserves from a loving mother: “I sing my son to sleep with ‘Mary Poppins’ [songs],” she says, “and rock and cradle him and cover him up in bed and do really silly things that we won’t even mention.”

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA COSMOPOLITAN INTERVIEW
COSMOPOLITAN: They told once that you and your man celebrate „Naked so called Sundays “…Christina Aguilera: In former times we had many naked Sundays. But now where my son (max, soon 2, D. Talk.) in the world is, there is rather naked moments. I however all the more love it!
Singer, Producer, Perfume designer, wife and mother - as you bring all this under a hat?
That is a genuine balancing act, but I have fortunately a whole team, which helps me make my appointments. My routine of the day depends however particularly on my son and its sleeping times.
How do you spoil yourselves, if the small one is in bed?
A glass of red wine, a Schaumbard as well as my man, perhaps still another few candles and a Massage… details for such sensuous moments is also my new Perfume - By Night.
What meaning do smells have for you?
I carry Perfume, in order to give to a look the certain something, even if I wear only my nightgown. Briefly before I go to bed, I spray myself a little in the hair and to the neck.
Do you do your own styling?
For official Events I have a glam squad I call on. However, you will then never discover a complex hair-style for me, I have simply no patience when concerning my hair. Make-up is like a creative valve for me, makeup allows me to play and have fun with certain looks.
What do you make then, simply the pony tail and you're done?
I usually look, as if I would have rolled straight out of bed.
If we see you on the red carpet, how long does your glam squad have for the styling for such official Events?
With breaks in between, it approximately takes two hours. It depends, in addition, what time I arive, which it then can last up to several hours.
Do you wear make up also on days off? And which outfit do you prefer to wear then?
I carry casual clothes. If I could, I would sit here most of all in a pink nightgown! But I must dress up for official dates, apply makeup. Sometimes I do not have the desire to be glamorous, I find jeans and a Tanktop very sexy.
What does your husband say about wearing glamorous, sexy outfits and the make-up?
He likes everything about me, I am really lucky to be with him.
Many men rather women to wear less makeup and prefer thinner women...
That isn't something Jordan is about, thank God! Which is one of the reasons, why I married him. I cannot adjust myself to have a relationship with a man that doesn't like make-up, we wouldn't function. I love make up.
You constantly change your appearance and image. At times brünett, then blond and afterwards platinum-blond. Do you plan such Look changes and what inspires you to do it?
The looks are always for a very long time preplanned. Sometimes I see for example something in a magazine or discover a mad flower color - the inspirations come from completely different sources, they originate however all from my everyday life. I have a note book in which I would put a newspaper-peel off, photos or keep things, which I discovered during my journeys.
Did you ever have a hair color disaster, which you regretted? Are there situations, in which one thinks after the hairdresser is done, why is it cut so short? “
Perhaps at times the crop or the hairdresser was actually not optimal, in addition, then I had never really regretted it. It was always a conscious decision, means look in the moment to change, and there was always a good reason. It is for a video or a new image.
They did not have pitch with hair colors thus ever?
I find it arrive in each case on how one stands to the new look. I have always large fun with the whole one and love it to change me to disguise me and slip into a new character.
They are a correct power woman, from where you take their self-confidence? Do they live after a slogan?
It is important to be and the feeling not have self-confidently that one needs others, around itself good to feel can. There are sufficient people, which want to pull one only down. Particularly if one is successful. That is unfortunately like that.
The more unfortunate humans in their surrounding field are, the more them one will criticize. One must close peace with itself, therefore such moments, which I described a while ago, are so valuable. Situations, in which one spoils oneself completely relaxed and. It all around well to go leaves itself. It is important to find out, who one is, to accept itself, to feel good and fun have.
Their prescription for a bad day?
On so one day I put into the bath tub or remain most of all simply in bed lying and undertake nothing at all. I love my bed! We deal naturally all differently with such situations.
It is not to sound itself now kitschig, but if I badly am, it helps me, means son to regard. I need to hear only its voice and my zero-support attitude pass in the hand turning. My mother instinct comes through then and I wants it immediately on the arm to take, helps me immensely.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA: 'MOTHERHOOD WON'T CHANGE ME'
CHRISTINA AGUILERA has said that being a mom will never affect who she is as an individual.
The sexy blonde, who gave birth to son Max 20 months ago, has admitted that she will not allow being a mother to change who she is or what she wears - as it wouldn't be fair to her.
"There are a few songs that have been inspired by him," she told Cosmopolitan magazine. "But as far as it affecting me creatively - like, I shouldn't be wearing that because I'm a mom - no. Because that wouldn't be fair to me."
"It's important to keep a strong sense of yourself when you're a mom. You're still you."
And one of the reasons Christina gives for wanting to continue her life as it was prior to motherhood, is that it will set a good example to her son, and make her the type of woman he should respect.
"There's got to be a balance and I want to set that example - as the kind of woman I want my son to respect."
"And as an individual himself, I want him to set goals and feel good about whatever it is that makes him feel good."

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S SON WAS HER ELECTRON INSPIRATION FOR HER NEW ALBUM
In E! special airing Wednesday, Aguilera says she gravitated toward Zero 7 when she was pregnant with Max.
Christina Aguilera has spoken quite a bit about how her upcoming album is taking her sound in a new, electro-disco direction thanks to collaborations with Goldfrapp,Ladytron, M.I.A., Santigold, Sia and Le Tigre.
But in a two-hour interview scheduled to air Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on E!, "Christina Aguilera: An E! Entertainment Special," the Grammy-winning belter reveals a bit more about husband Jordan Bratman as well as the influence the couple's toddler son, Max, has had on her new studio adventures.
The show takes you inside the studio with Aguilera, where she recalls how after 19-month-old Max was born, she got hooked on the pumping electro sound of bands like U.K. downtempo duoZero 7. Australian pop singer Sia, who has worked with Zero 7, explains in the show that Aguilera told her, "I'm kind of interested in stepping into your world."
"Whenever Max was born, I really gravitated, for some reason, towards a lot of electro music and that futuristic sound," Aguilera said. "I was listening to a lot of artists like Zero 7, [who] have worked a lot with one of my favorite singer/songwriters, Sia, who is absolutely amazing."
Rather than bend her collaborators to her sound, Aguilera said she really wanted to "step inside their world and see how they put together their sound and their music and experiment with different textures and sounds of my voice."
Aguilera, 28, also gets weepy when she talks about how Bratman has helped settle her once-wild life. "I grew up not really having sort of any real male perspective or role model," Aguilera said, sporting a bleach-blond hairdo and a more tame look than in the past. "Jordan just continuously makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with him every day. ... He just exudes such love and is such a great father to Max that it just make me the happiest woman alive."
In the special, the singer also reveals where Bratman proposed to her, how her pregnancy was a total surprise and the nightly, pre-bedtime-for-Max workout routine that keeps her in shape.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA CAN'T DIET!
The Dirrty singer has been trying to get back into shape since giving birth to son Max 19 months ago.
But Aguilera admits it’s a struggle because she can’t stop stuffing her face.
“I don’t diet because I can’t,” she said.
“I love my food too much. I can’t even cut down on carbs because that’s so hard for me.
“So I eat what I like and make sure I work out for an hour when Max goes to bed. It’s hard but it works for me.”
Christina, 28, recently insisted that motherhood doesn’t stop her from feeling sexy.
“Mothers can be very sexy. When I get all glammed up, I am not wearing my mommy hat, but I can feel sexy in just a pair of jeans and a T-shirt,” she said. “I do find it important that, as a mother, you don’t give up on your sexuality.”
“All mothers are superstars in my eyes,” she added. “You need to make time for everything. For work, for family, for play. It’s important to keep your own happiness alive. Only then will you be able to make people around you happy.”
