[NEWS] THE WORLD PRAISES CHRISTINA AGUILERA ON HER IMPECCABLE IMPRESSIONS OF FELLOW DIVAS

It doesn't come as a surprise to us, fighters, that Xtina has an impeccable ability to do impressions. After last night episode of "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" Xtina has been the talk of the town.

During the taping Jimmy asked Xtina to play "Wheel Of Musical Impressions" where Xtina would have to impersonate 2 random artists. She was given Cher, Britney Spears and Shakira. She nailed every single one of them. But the public favorite is her impersonation of Britney.

If you haven't seen it yet CLICK HERE.

After the show aired the twitter sphere blew up and everyone was in awe of her and he ability to mimic her fellow peers.

[NEWS] XTINA TWEETS HER SUPPORT FOR SASHA ALLEN AND #TEAMSHAKIRA

Ladies have to stick together when it comes to the “Man’s World" on The Voice, and no one knows this better than original female coach Christina Aguilera. The pop diva's had little to say about this season of the hit competition show, but on June 4 she tweeted her support to Team Shakira’s only remaining artist, Sasha Allen.
Sasha used to sing backup for the legend back in the day, and these days she’s being compared to another legend — Sasha Fierce (aka Beyonce). When Wetpaint Entertainment spoke exclusively with the contestant, she was thrilled by the nickname.

“It’s huge. I look up to [Beyonce] so much and to be slightly compared — I mean I don’t even want to compare myself,” she told us. “Who wouldn’t want to be compared to Beyonce?”

It’s nice to see Christina supporting some of this season’s talent. Perhaps it’s practice for her return this fall for Season 5 of the show.
Sadly, there will be no battle of the divas as Shakira is taking Season 5 off to spend time with her family and record her new album. But the Colombian superstar will be back in Season 6, airing spring 2014.

[NEWS] IT'S OFFICIAL: 'THE VOICE' TO BRING BACK ORIGINAL COACHES FOR SEASON 5

CeeLo Green and Christina Aguilera will return this fall, with Shakira and Usher back for season 6.

It's official: The Voice is bringing back its original lineup of coaches for season five.

It was announced Friday that Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have been on the NBC singing competition since its inception, will be reunited in the red chairs with Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green when The Voice returns in the fall.

The Hollywood Reporter previously reported in a Levine cover story published in March that the original coaches were expected back for season five.

Shakira and Usher, who replaced Aguilera and Green for the current fourth season, will be back for the sixth cycle, which is slated for a midseason launch following the 2014 Winter Olympics. Levine and Shelton will remain as coaches. NBC plans on using its Winter Olympics coverage from Sochi, Russia, as another platform to tout the sixth season.

Carson Daly, who also leads late-night talker Last Call, will continue as host.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA RETURNING TO 'THE VOICE' WITH NEW $17 MILLION DEAL?

Christina Aguilera is in line to return to NBC's The Voice, it has been claimed.

The musician has signed a deal believed to be worth around $17 million (£11.1m) and will return for season five, an insider with knowledge of negotiations told The Wrap.

Aguilera was one of the original coaches when the reality singing competition launched on the network in 2011, but left along with Cee Lo Green to promote new projects at the end of season three last winter.

Usher and Shakira joined The Voice in their places for the fourth season, which is currently underway.

If Aguilera's return is confirmed, it is not immediately clear how it would affect the current composition of the panel.

NBC did not announce any changes at its upfronts presentation for 2013-14 on Monday (May 13), and is yet to comment on the reports.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA GIVES CANDLELIT PERFORMANCE OF 'BLANK PAGE' AT 2013 PCA'S

Surrounded by white candles, wearing a white blazer and black leggings and sporting unwashed, white blond hair, Christina Aguilera took the stage to perform the ballad ‘Blank Page’ at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards tonight (Jan. 9.)

It was a simple and unfettered performance, one that allowed Xtina’s powerhouse voice to command the attention of every person in the auditorium.

Even though her voice was a tiny bit strained, she still sounded better than most on their best day.

Power ballads like this are Xtina’s forte, and she reminded us why we loved her so much in the first place. While her “comeback” album ‘Lotus’ may have flopped, if this song finds its audience, the album could get a second life.

After performing the song, she was handed the People’s Voice Award, and in her acceptance speech, she admitted that was the first time that she sang that song without crying. She also confessed that singing is the only time she feels like she is truly herself, and that she finds a home in music. It was a touching speech, and an entertaining performance.

Curiously enough, she gushed about ‘The Voice’ producer Mark Burnett in such a way that made us think that it was a calculated attempt to make sure she gets her chair back on the show and doesn’t lose it to Shakira. Xtina is on hiatus for Season 4, with the Latin dynamo filling in for her.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA SAYS 'LOTUS' LP WILL BE 'MULTI-LAYERED, HEARTFELT'

Christina Aguilera admits that her last album, 2010's Bionic, didn't connect with her fans. "It had a lot of amazing sounds and a futuristic twist to it," she says. "But if you weren't a music person, it was just going to go over your head. A lot of the collaborations were with people that were either very underground or weren't necessarily from the pop world. I really think it was far ahead of its time and it'll be fully appreciated in the years to come."

On her follow-up, Lotus – her first LP since getting a divorce and becoming a judge on The Voice – Aguilera goes for a sleeker mainstream pop sound, working with producers like Max Martin, Lucas Secon and Shellback. "I don't really push myself to have those formulaic commercial successes," Aguilera says. "It's dishonest and it starts lacking creativity. I embraced being a pop artist, but I like doing it on my own terms, at my own pace."

Aguilera sees Lotus (in stores on November 9th) as a companion piece of sorts to her 2002 album, Stripped. "It really takes me back to that time," she says. "I was shedding a skin in a sense. I had been pigeonholed as formula-pop driven, or molded or forced to be something I didn't feel was true to me. I was labeled from 'Genie in a Bottle,' and I had a lot of things to say and share as a 21-year-old woman. Now I've come full circle a decade later. I had a greatest hits album and I experienced a decade in this crazy business. It's a time of celebration, of embracing being a pop star."

The songs span a range of emotions, from the pain of loss through a spiritual rebirth to a celebration of life. "It's a very multi-layered, very heartfelt record," she says. "I wanted to share all the different sides of me, as a woman, and as a creator and an artist. Part of that is being a mom. Part of that is sexuality. Part of that is vulnerability. Part of that is aggression and angst. All those pieces make me who I am."

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA EMBRACES HER BODY THROUGH AGING AND MOTHERHOOD

She's taken her knocks, but Christina Aguilera remains defiant on the subject of her body – saying she loves everything about herself as a mother in her 30s.

"Some people are afraid of change and [feel] that getting older is a bad thing, but I really love maturing and gaining wisdom," the 31-year-old pop star, Voice coach and mother of son Max, 4, tells PEOPLE. "And the experience of being pregnant and having a child and seeing what a woman's body can do is amazing."

If you're going to be a hater, so be it – it won't faze her.

"I've always been one to make it very clear, love me or hate me, take it or leave it, this is who I am," she says. "I embrace my body, and I embrace everything about myself. Coming full circle is a celebration of freedom and happiness because that's what [my new album] Lotus is representing. I'm embracing everything that I've grown to be and learned to be."

About that new album, which comes out Nov. 13 – did Aguilera have any qualms about appearing nude on the cover?

"It's very interesting, because I don't see that album cover as being nude at all," she says. "I actually feel very covered and it's all about embracing white light and freedom, and I didn't want it to be about too much fashion. I wanted it to be raw, real and free and a celebration of life and the woman I've become."

On the subject of The Voice, Aguilera says Usher and Shakira will be great replacements when she and Cee Lo Green take a break next season. And Shakira needn't worry – it's not too taxing for an expectant mom.

"Well, you just have to sit there, so that's an easy gig pregnant. But I have all of the confidence in the world," Aguilera says. "They are true pros. Shakira and Usher have been doing it for a very long time and have their own fan bases. They can keep my seat warm."

[VIDEO] CHRISTINA AGUILERA PRAISES 'FUN' NICKI MINAJ + SET TO PERFORM AT THE AMA'S

Aguilera, rocking blond, bright pink and purple hair, appeared before the press in Los Angeles on Tuesday to announce the nominees of the 2012 American Music Awards. Minaj, who collaborated with her on the 2010 single "Woohoo," is nominated for four awards.

"I love Nicki Minaj!" Aguilera told OTRC.com and other outlets. "I think she's great, she's fun, she's fun to look at, colorful. I love that she's able to take risks and people embrace that about her."

Minaj, also known for her edgy outfits and hairstyles, recently made headlines due to an online video that shows her getting into a heated, expletive-filled argument with Carey at the judges' table of "American Idol." The two and country singer Keith Urban had joined the FOX singing contest series earlier this year, replacing Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA DESCRIBES LEAVING 'THE VOICE' AS 'BITTERSWEET', TUNE IN MONDAY FOR MORE

Christina Aguilera may be leaving The Voice, but it sounds like it may not have been the easiest decision to make.

"It's bittersweet," the Grammy winner told me earlier today while promoting her new just-released-on-iTunes single, "Your Body," from her upcoming album Lotus (out Nov. 13). "I so enjoy being a coach to my team on The Voice [and] and at this point in season 3, all of us coaches have truly bonded."
And that includes fun times when the cameras aren't rolling on the NBC show.

"When me and Adam [Levine] are on breaks backstage, you know, we're writing profanity with my red lipstick all over Blake [Shelton]'s trailer while he's napping inside," Aguilera said. "It's like we have definitely become like brother and sister. We goof around and play around. I'm going to miss it."
Even so, she explained, "In order to be the best coach I can be on that show is to go out and be able to have the experience as an artist…create new experiences for myself so that I can then come back to the show and share that much more."

Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will be replaced by Shakira and Usher when the new season kicks off in the spring. (E! and NBC are part of the NBCUniversal family.)

Aguilera has already talked to producer Mark Burnett about returning to the show. "He understands that we're artists first," she said. "In order to remain great coaches and to stay relevant, we have to go out and we have to still tour, see our fans one-on-one. I have to feel creatively fulfilled in order for me to then do my job as a coach and be on that show."

That's not all we have for you from Xtina. For more of our sit-down with Ms. Aguilera, make sure to tune into E! News on Monday at 7 and 11:30 p.m.

[NEWS] USHER & SHAKIRA SWAP PLACES WITH CEE LO GREEN & CHRISTINA AGUILERA FOR SEASON 4

The Voice is shaking up its judges panel.

The NBC reality hit has hired R&B singer Usher and Latin singer Shakira as “coaches” for the upcoming spring edition of the series. They’ll replace Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, who are expected to return to the show next fall. The new additions are part of a plan by NBC and producers to develop an ongoing tent of talent for The Voice that can be mixed and matched as needed. Given the judges’ level of success and tour schedules, it’s difficult to have any of them appear on the show all season now that NBC has decided to run the series in the fall and spring.

“Having award-winning artists as coaches means they need to be able to tour,” said executive producer Mark Burnett. “Whether in the red chair or on tour, our coaches have their chairs for life. This is exactly why, after three seasons, we needed to allow them to rotate out so they can get on the road amongst their fans. Meanwhile, we’re incredibly excited to have singular artists like Usher and Shakira joining the fold.”

Aguilera is releasing a new album and going on tour. CeeLo is developing new music plus working on a scripted comedy series for NBC based on his life. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will continue on The Voice this spring (and you make your own snarky assumptions about that). The Voice recently returned for its third season and though its ratings were down from previous seasons, it still managed to outshine the Britney-fueled second season premiere of Fox’s The X Factor.
