[NEWS] CHRISTINA CLAIMS SHE WAS 'TOO THIN', & LOVES HER BOOTY & SHOWING HER CLEAVAGE

Besides her powerful vocal abilities, Christina Aguilera is best known for her curvy physique—but that wasn't always the case.
"Actually, the challenge I've always had is being too thin," the singer says in our October issue. "So I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage."
That infamous cleavage is frequently displayed during the star's hit reality show, The Voice, on which she serves as a mentor/judge with fellow music artists CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Aguilera has been spotted wearing all sorts of figure-flattering ensembles during the program, usually accessorized with Christian Louboutin heels, because he "makes the sexiest shoes." She insists, however, that the most important part of an outfit is how a person feels in it.
"Hey, if you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through," she wisely told us.

[NEWS] HUFFINGTON POST: CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S NEW BODY LOOKS AMAZING
Is it just us, or is Christina Aguilera looking better than ever these days?
We have to admit, the 31-year-old singer and "The Voice" star has gone through a bit of a rough patch lately, style-wise. She sported that odd Sonia Rykiel disco CD-ROM headband for multiple "Voice" tapings. She had that famous self-tanner malfunction. There was that too-tight bodysuit she donned for the Michael Jackson tribute concert, which earned her the nickname "Snookitina."
After her new TV gig cast her into the national spotlight once again, Aguilera also fell under nasty criticism for her curvier frame: Howard Stern slammed her as "plus-size" (he used it as an insult) during an interview with Adam Levine, and Kelly Osbourne snarked about Christina: "I was never that fat." Complex magazine said she "look[s] less like a genie that could actually fit in the bottle." But throughout it all, Aguilera declared that she was "very confident" about her body -- a message we're definitely on board with.
But lately, we think Christina has even more reason to be proud of her appearance. She's lost the frizzy curls in favor of a sleeker blown-out 'do. Her makeup looks waaaaay less dramatic. And Christina also opted for a better wardrobe on last night's first live eliminations episode of "The Voice"'s second season, donning a tangerine-colored bandage dress that wonderfully showed off her figure.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S BODY IMAGE MISSION + 40 PHOTOS OF HER EVOLUTION
Now while everyone else is still bitching and complaining about Christina Aguilera's fluctuating waistline, the singer is using every inch of it to empower up and coming female artists.According to Aguilera, "I have a boyfriend that loves my body. I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is all that matters. Women, we are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny. As long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all the confirmation I need."
Oh and the pro-body image, girl-power rah rah rah didn't stop there. The 31-year-old went on to say, "You have got to be a strong, powerful, very confident woman," during a press event for the The Voice this weekend.
But you've got to admit, Aguilera does have a point. Being a female in the music industry does call for a lot of confidence and a 'take no crap' attitude. But it also calls for a pretty face and a trim waist. So having such confidence emit straight from their body image, well, that right there will get them further than most other females. No not only because those others are stuck in backstage bathrooms all hopped-up on laxatives. Chances are that body image-centered confidence will strengthen their voice behind the scenes, because after all, with the eyes not so distracted the ears can actually listen to their talent.
"Being in a position to coach these young women, I am happy to be able to share that with them and share my highs and lows," she said, also recognizing what the position is doing for her. "Being on the show, it's a very good outlet for me."
Real quick, here's a snapshot of how Aguilera's body image has changed as her confidence grew.

Just think of how that skinny little Aguilera would’ve responded to today's stresses. Yeah, she would've snapped. Like literally. Hell, how do you think she got to where she is today?

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA WEIGHT GAIN: SINGER SILENCES CRITICS
Aguilera was heavily criticized for showing off a noticeably curvier figure at Michael Jackson's tribute concert back in October, and has been targeted by the newly svelte E! 'Fashion Police' host Kelly Osbourne on multiple occasions.
Aguilera addressed the issue at a press conference for 'The Voice' on Friday (Jan. 6), saying, "I've been in this [business] for a long time. I came out on the scene when I was 17 years old. You can never be too much of anything. You can never be too perfect, too thin, too curvy, voluptuous, this, that. I've been on all sides of the spectrum as far as any female in this business."
The reality TV judge continued, "As long as I'm happy in my own skin, that's all I need. I'm happy with where I'm at. I have a boyfriend that loves my body. I love my body." Aguilera is currently dating production assistant Matthew Rutler.
Xtina even cited her notoriously racy music videos in a bid to prove her point. "I think my video works over the years have spoken to that ... As you know, 'Dirrty' and so on, and 'Lady Marmalade'. I've been no stranger to being very comfortable in my own skin to take those risks, to take those chances."
The superstar also revealed how motherhood has helped put things into perspective. She mentioned her son Max, who turns 4 years old this week (Jan. 12). "My son is healthy and happy. That's all that matters."

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA BLASTS BACK AT BODY & STYLE BACKLASH & SHE LOVES HER BODY
She may be a blog fixture for her hair, clothes or figure, but “The Voice’s” lone lady coach, Christina Aguilera, is totally comfortable in her own skin.“I’ve been in this for a long time. I came out on the scene when I was 17 years old. ‘You can never be too much of anything. You can never be too prefect, too thin, too curvy, too voluptuous,’ this, that. I’ve been on all sides of the spectrum.. [Every] female in this business at one time or another has had criticism… and I’m always a risk taker too,” Christina said on Friday during NBC’s “The Voice” panel at the Television Critics Association Winter Session in Pasadena.
“I’m very confident in my body,” the singer continued. “I think my video works over the years have spoken to that… I’ve been no stranger to being very comfortable in my own skin,” she added.
Christina said despite the “massive scrutiny,” she’s happy and her boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, loves her curves.
“As long as I’m happy in my own skin, that’s all I need, that’s all the confirmation I need. I’m happy where I am, I have a boyfriend love that loves my body, I love my body, my son is healthy and happy. That’s all that matters,” she said.
The blonde said she also enjoys mentoring her “Voice” female team members, sharing her own experiences with body image and style criticisms.
“Being in a position to coach these young girls, is really a great thing for me to be able to share that with them, and also sharing my highs and lows along the way. I’m very open on the show about all of that,” she said.
In related “The Voice” news, show host and producer Carson Daly noted that when the show does return, it will feature a more unique crop of contestants than seen previously.
“Season 1 hit the air and people aspiring to be in this space didn’t really know what to make of ‘The Voice,’ where it sat with the other competition shows, thought they knew, didn’t want to sit in the cattle call, but what happened was the level of talent in Season 1 was so high… when [we] went in early for Season 2…. working musicians … maybe [people] signed to a small label, people who really want to make it, who never would have stood in line for any other show came out,” he said. “Whatever you thought of Season 1, this [new talent crop] is way, way, way higher.”
“The Voice” premieres February 5, after the Super Bowl on NBC.
And when it does, the four celebrity coaches — Christina, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green — will have eight new superstar friends helping them out. Click here to find out which singers will join the show as guest mentors!

[NEWS] CELEBRITY FITNESS SPECIAL: CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S BODY SECRETS

Christina Aguilera’s new curvy figure may have been the source of much debate in recent months but the 'Moves Like Jagger' singer's personal trainer says she has been working hard to achieve a more womanly shape.
In an exclusive interview, fitness instructor Tee Sorge tells Starlounge how she has been helping Christina keep in shape.
"The trend in LA now is leaning towards a much healthier, curvier look, with toned, womanly shapes,” she says. “Christina and I started training six years ago. When she first came to me she was very petite with a tiny frame.
“Now, she has the body of a woman and she’s got muscle mass and curves.”
Tee devised a regime for Christina which primarily involves building muscle before stripping fat to create a leaner and defined look.
“Christina works out with me three to five times a week for a minimum of 90 minutes a day,” she explains.
“I do a 15-minute warm up on the treadmill or the bike and then weight circuits, which cover all body parts.”
She uses four to five different exercises three times each and makes each session different to maintain interest and to challenge the body before moving on to cardio.
“Christina does boxing, kickboxing or jump rope to keep her heart rate up,” she adds. “The muscle group trained during each session needs at least 24-48 hrs to recover."
When it comes to food, Tee says that while Christina eats very healthily, she has been advising her to eat a lot of proteins like eggs, beans, fish and meat.
“Diet is just as, and if not more important than exercise,” she says.
“Christina is really good with food and has a personal chef. She’s a normal, healthy eater."
“She might have junk food sometimes and has her treat, likes chocolate, but she’s petite so she doesn’t have a huge appetite! She is a fairly big meat eater and also likes things like tinned tuna.
“It’s a brilliant option, because it’s healthy, quick and packed with protein. I advise eating a lot of proteins like eggs, beans, fish and meat."
Tee says she is pleased that the star’s dedication to regular training over the years is still paying off.
"Now she’s 30 years old and everything’s pretty stable within her body because she put all the hard work in from her early twenties,” she adds.
“Her muscles are receptive. She’ll call me up and I will always fit her in. She has so much going on that she works really well being structured.”
Tee’s Top Tips
1) Eat more protein type foods and eat less food as the day goes on
2) Don’t eat more three hours before bedtime
3) Stay away from eating fruit in the evening since it’s a sugar and the body has to break that down.
4) Drink eight ounces of water per day
5) Do weight bearing exercises. They are important for women because they promote strong healthy bones.
6) Include a good fat, avocado or olive oil. Fats will keep you feeling satisfied and not hungry.
7) Snacks should always include a protein source like apples with string cheese and handful of almonds or pears with jerky and handful of peanuts.Source: StarLounge

[NEWS] KELLY OSBOURNE IS WRONG TO BULLY CHRISTINA AGUILERA ABOUT HER FIGURE
Karma is a bitch, isn't it? Kelly Osbourne seems to think so. Before shedding 45 pounds during her stint on Dancing With the Stars, Ozzy Osbourne's daughter-turned-clothing designer/celeb fashion expert had a lot of weight haters. And now that she's thin, she's apparently just as mature as the rest of 'em.
After seeing a picture of Christina Aguilera looking a bit heavier (OK, a lot heavier), she's firing back at the "Genie in a Bottle" songstress for looking chubtastic. Osbourne told E!'s Fashion Police:Oh come on, Kelly. As a former fat girl, you should know that two wrongs don't make a right.
By the photos, it does look like Aguilera has gained some weight. But she is by no means obese. So I pose this question to Kelly: What does it matter if she's bigger than you ever were? How does saying this sort of thing do anyone any good? The right thing to do here is be the bigger woman (figuratively, of course). I'd imagine that Kelly can sympathize with Aguilera on how difficult it is to be in the spotlight and be a bit heavier.
Hell, I can definitely sympathize with the "being heavy" part myself. Since I was overweight for a lot of my teen years, I understand that it isn't easy. Not to mention, it's not always a choice. There's often a family history of obesity, a valid reason for being unable to exercise, or a host of other contributing factors. Because I've been there, I'm much less likely to criticize another person for the way she looks. While picking on someone else may make you think better of yourself, I'm a true believer that what goes around comes around to bite you in the backside. What if Kelly gains some weight back? Does this mean she's saying it's OK to tell her she looks horrendous? Because that's the message I'm getting here, anyway.
These are two different women with two very different body types. Apparently, being chub didn't teach Osbourne some of the same lessons I learned. And something tells me if she had a child just two years ago, like Aguilera, she'd be singing a different tune.
Do you think Kelly is out of line talking about Aguilera's weight?

[NEWS] MAKE-UP FREE & PANTLESS, CHRISTINA AGUILERA & MATT RUTLER ENJOY A NIGHT OUT
With the wild blonde hair, fish nets and other skimpy attire, Christina Aguilera could have been mistaken for another risque singer. The popstar opted for a T-shirt and no trousers as she enjoyed a romantic meal with her boyfriend, Matt Rutler last night.
She bizarrely teamed the look with a pair of towering high heels, which would have better suited a nice evening dress.
And matched with a black leather jacket, the 30-year-old could have passed for Pretty Reckless rocker Taylor Momsen.
Except one thing was missing - make-up.
The usually heavily-painted star went slap free as she and Matt enjoyed a Monday night out dinner at Off Vine in Hollywood.
The restaurant which specialises in California American cuisine with an emphasis on generous portions of comfort foods such as pasta, meatloaf and steaks.
But the couple looked happy, Christina beaming widely as she skillfully navigated the stairs of the restaurant in her heels while clinging on to her man's arm.
There was no sign that the star was letting rival Kelly Osborne's comments about her weight get to her - or reports she has been told by executives on singing show, The Voice, to lose weight.
Christina, a judge on the U.S. show, is reportedly a size 12/14, or 9st, 4lbs, but has been told to lose 10lbs because it is 'difficult to dress her'.
A source told Closer magazine: 'TV bosses say it's a health issue. But what they really mean is she no longer looks sexy. She's been told to lose at least 10lbs before the next season starts in early 2012 - she went up two dress sizes in a matter of weeks.
Rocker chic? Former Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen often goes without trousers

'She's been recommended a nutritionist and is meant to be on a strict diet. But she enjoys a glass on wine, doesn't care what she eats and hates exercise.'
Friends said she 'comfort ate' after her divorce from husband Jordan Bratman was finalised late last year.
Christina is said to have gained three stone after she gave birth to her son max in 2008, but had slimmed down to a size 10 again last year.
The superstar was a tiny size six when she rose to fame as a teenager in 2000.
Meanwhile, Kelly Osborne discussed Christina's weight on E!'s Fashion Police Friday.
Co-host George Kotsiopoulous defended her unflattering get-up at last weekend's Michael Jackson tribute concert.
He pointed out that she was 'still probably a [American] size 2/4' despite her poor outfit choice.
'Trust me,' Kelly, 26, sniped. 'I'm a 2/4. That is not a 2/4.'
She continued: 'She called me fat for years. I was never that fat.'
Fashion police co-host Joan Rivers agrees with the analysis.

'Lady Marmalade got into the peanut butter again,' she said.
Christina has been the source of criticism for pairing a tight-fitting black bodysuit with fishnets, heavy-handed makeup and massive hair.
On a previous episode of the E! commentary show, Ozzy Osbourne's daughter had also attacked the Burlesque star's size.
'Maybe she's just becoming the fat b***h she was always born to be. I don't know. She was a c*** to me', she said.
'She called me fat for so many f***ing years," Osbourne vented, 'so you know what? F**k you! You're fat too.'
Kelly has battled her own weight issues in the past, but after appearing on Dancing with the Stars in 2009, managed to lose and keep off 48 pounds.
