While Glee’s Matthew Morrison prepares his debut album and Lea Michele whisks away to Oz, Dianna Agron—who plays the sometimes bitchy, sometimes lovable, endlessly pregnant cheerleader Quinn—has joined the cast of Burlesque. Dianna recently sat down with Interview magazine and revealed she has a supporting role in the upcoming Cher/Christina Aguilera movie-musical, which is already destined to become the Moulin Rouge of the new decade.
The film follows a Midwestern girl (Aguilera) who moves to Hollywood to become a star, but ends up working in a burlesque club. (So, basically, it’s a PG-13 version of Showgirls set in LA.)
We’re excited to see Dianna on the big-screen, alongside other notable names like Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell and Peter Gallagher. But honestly? We’re surprised the film’s producers didn’t sign up the whole damn cast of the Golden Globe-winning show.
