[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA & CEE LO GREEN RETURN TO THE VOICE (1ST PHOTO)
Christina Aguilera is back! And so is Cee Lo Green!
Fans of The Voice are already getting a first look at the upcoming fifth season of the hit show.
Green and Aguilera – looking super slim with a sophisticated bob and long, lean legs to boot – are reuniting with triple winner Blake Shelton and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine for the new season, which debuts Sept. 23 (8 p.m. ET) on NBC.
Host Carson Daly is also back for season 5 – just in time for blind auditions, which began this week in Los Angeles.

We’re on the set of “Burlesque" this week with the photo booth. The cast and crew coming thoroughly are lovin’ it. Tomorrow Christina Aguilera and Cher (February 8, 2010)! Being on a smoke/fogged in sound stage was a little much for the lungs, but the photo booth was a hit! James Brolin came through, in addition to all of the dancers. Christina and all the cast and crew had a ball in the photo booth (Wish I could post some pics but, in the words of Dana Carvey, “Wouldn’t be prudent, not at this juncture!)! Oh, and there was food/catering all day and then at 10pm.. a fresh sushi truck came (February 12, 2010)! Another great day on the set of “Burlesque" @Sony Pictures, with the photo booth! Back again tomorrow too (February 18, 2010)!

The buttons have been shelved, the chairs have rotated back to their original positions, and, most importantly, the teams have finally been picked — meaning that after four weeks, it’s time for The Voice to move from Blind Auditions to Battle Rounds. But before the competition heats up even more, members of each coach’s team get to enjoy a brief reprieve. Well, as long as you think being forced to watch video of your own audition while sitting in a room filled with your fiercest competition sounds relaxing.
When Team Christina gathers to watch their blind auditions for the first time, who thinks she sounded ridiculous, who muses that choosing to sing an Xtina song was “kinda like suicide,” and who reveals that she almost blacked out onstage?
But wait, there’s more! EW also got hold of another exclusive video, one that shows Coach Christina herself discussing the blind auditions and her signature fashion sense. (“I don’t take that side of what I do that seriously,” she tells Christina Milian.) It’s the perfect original antidote to last night’s Voice clip show:

On the first day of Season 3′s Blind Auditions, The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton, and Christina Aguilera gathered backstage to discuss the season ahead. Social media correspondent Christina Milian got the ball rolling by asking the coaches to name who they see as their biggest competition — which led to Aguilera calling Levine “a sensitive, tender lover,” then imitating Shelton’s big-hearted Santa laugh, then giggling as Levine quoted a famously profane moment from Half Baked (NSFW).
