[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA TO PAY TRIBUTE TO DONNA SUMMER AT ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME

Continuing his recent trend, Dave Grohl will be living in the limelight at the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The on-a-break Foo Fighters frontman and Sound City director is among the initial group of presenters and performers announced Wednesday for the April 18 ceremony at Staples Center in Los Angeles

Grohl and his longtime Foo-mate Taylor Hawkins will induct Rush as part of the Class of ’13. Also taking the mike that night will be Don Henley, a 1998 Rock Hall inductee as part of the mega-selling Eagles, who will deliver the induction speech for L.A.’s own Randy Newman.

And two pairs of artists will pull double duty at the event, performing in place of and inducting late honorees. Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson will present Donna Summer and also deliver some of the disco era’s most iconic songs, and John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr. will induct Freddie King, playing the blues guitar legend’s timeless classics.
