ReplyDeleteAlthough it's not too bad I have to say I'm not too keen on this. I think it looks fan made and not really.... professional I think the word I'm looking for. It looks last minute and used minimal effort. Plain background, too small font, over edited picture and overall looks too whitewashed. I do have to agree with one of the comments above that said it looks cheap because it kind of does as much as I hate to admit it. Again, xtina is far too photoshopped which is a shame because she doesn't need to be and I'm not a fan of the nudity in ths particular case. Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of skin showing and the Stripped cover was beautiful but this I personally feel crosses the line between beauty and trashy. If she was wearing a beautiful long dress and the dress turned into the lotus flower at the end or something like that then I think it would look far classier. I was hoping to be blown away by this cover but it overall just looks very basic and unprofessional
ReplyDeleteYes, I totally agree - a long pink dress would've looked beautiful and the LOTUS font looks very 'cheap' and amateur. It's not really out-of-the-box thinking and the lotus flower can barely be seen. Bionic on the other hand, although very photoshopped as well, was supposed to to look perfect, almost animated and the font is great!

ReplyDeleteD - I completely agree! I understand that she has said that commercial success is not her priority but that doesn't mean she shouldn't even try! Her fans want to see her dog as well as she is capable of doing and were doing our bit by buying the single and requesting it on the radio and she's doing nothing. Both her and her management really need to meet us halfway. I feel like were exhausting ourselves trying to make this era a success when her and her team are not even trying.
