[NEWS] ADAM LEVINE DEFENDS CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S WEIGHT AGAIN ON ELLEN

[SMART-PHONE FRIENDLY]

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine stood up for his fellow Voice judge, Christina Aguilera, saying that her weight issues ‘should be left alone.’

E! News reports that the hunky, tattooed singer was praised by Ellen for his willingness to defend Christina.

“It’s a very basic thing,” Levine said. “She should be left alone. No one should bother or haggle her about her weight or anything that she does or says. So, that’s it. That’s how I feel about it.”

Ellen also probed the singer on the tiff he had with Aguilera, to which the singer added, “There were some squabbles and things like that. But, we’re fine now – very, very close.”

According to Celebuzz, Adam also dished on the new set of judges – Shakira and Usher – for the upcoming seasons, following Christina and Cee Lo’s leave from the show, admitting that it’s “confusing” sometimes.

“I’m cheating on the original fabulous four a little bit,” the singer laughed. “I remember thinking to myself, ‘I love [Usher and Shakira], but I miss Cee Lo and Christina.”
