It's funny how a rumor can get started -- just because an artist supports someone else's work on their Twitter account does not necessarily mean that they have any plans to work with them professionally in the future. Such is the case with former "American Idol" contestant Adam Lambert. Earlier today, the singer posted a link advertising Christina Aguilera's big announcement -- her upcoming single entitled "Not Myself Tonight."However, upon doing this action an avalanche of rumors began suggesting that this was in some way a hint by Adam that he was to be working with Aguilera, possibly even on a future tour. As a matter of fact, the singer finally had to shut down the conversation with a new post Tuesday afternoon:
"No Christina tour fans... Where do you get these rumors? Haha I just retweeted her [countdown] to HER big news cuz I'm a fan :)"
There's still no definite news on when a nationwide tour by Adam Lambert could occur, but we are getting closer to finding out. The next big concert gig the singer has is in Vancouver early next month, and after that we are looking at a relatively clean slate.
