[STYLE] GET THE LOOK - 'THE VOICE' EPISODE 12: LIVE SHOWS PT 1 LOOK

Last week was difficult, letting members of your team go is always emotional. Last night the pressure was off Team Christina, and I could sit back and be entertained. And yet again I got to play and create in terms of my look. Enjoy playing with these tips at home.

Stylist Simone Harouche
For Monday night's look Christina, Jake, Mark and I had discussed going for a sultry hair and makeup look. Mark Townsend did amazing hair and Jake Bailey created a striking makeup look with dramatic eyes. To finish off this look, I thought a black and white patterned mini dress would be perfect to complete the overall look. The dress is made by Intermix exclusives, earrings by Lanvin and ring by Loree Rodkin and her fabulous shoes are by Christina Louboutin.

Hairstylist Mark Townsend on the hair:
Working on the live shows of The Voice with Christina is such an amazing and inspiring project to be a part of, every day is like playing dress up! For tonight's look we went for straight, shiny, and gorgeous hair so I started by applying a few drops of Dove Nourishing Oil Care Serum to her damp hair and combed through, the natural almond and coconut oils deeply condition the hair and the argan oil seals and protects the hair. Next I blow dried her hair with a large round brush for maximum announcers. For extra shine and movement I sprayed Sally Hershberger Star Shine on my hands and rubbed them together and then ran my hands through her hair, I love to do this because it distributes the product evenly and brings out the layers in the hair. As always, I finished with Dove Style+Care Extra Hold Hairspray, I just can't live without this spray, it keeps the hair in place without becoming sticky or weighing the hair down. I absolutely love this hairstyle on Christina, I think we should do this one again soon!

Makeup artist Jake Bailey on the makeup:
Monday's Live show look was all about the eyes. Christina's eyes are the most beautiful shade of blue so I love to make them stand out. I started by lining her entire eye with an urban decay 24/7 liner in "zero". I then blended a plum cream shadow from Maybelline "" into the liner and all over the lid. At this point I had already decided I would be working with a neutral pallete on the rest of her face so I added a multicolored glitter from Inglot on top of the cream shadow to add a little of "disco". Cream shadow is ideal for achieving a glittery eye. If you apply the glitter to it while the cream is still moist the glitter will stick to it. If glitter falls onto your face during application you can remove it using scotch tape. I finished the eye with a strip of lashes from Eyelure's Naturalites line of false lashes and coated it with Covergirl's 24/7 mascara. I used Nars bronzer in "Casino" to accentuate her cheekbones and swirled Make Up For Ever sculpting blush in "iridescent orange coral" on the apples of her cheeks to add a warm glow. I completed the look by lining the lips in fully with NYX retractable lip liner in "natural" followed by a watermelon gloss to add color and shine. the shade was Dior Addict Ultra gloss #654. Props to Mark Townsend for the ultra chic hair and Simone Harouche for that amazing dress!

Manicurist Farah Songhorian on the custom manicure look:
I used Sally Hansen Nail polish Strips in the style Lust-rous. The look is black with gold flakes which compliments the dress and adds some sparkle and glam to the nail. This application is great for the live shows as there is no dry time.
